Welcome to the SOAR 2019 Customer Conference (the “Conference”), organized by BluJay Solutions Inc. We’re so glad you’ll be joining us. For complete details on the terms that apply to registration and other important stuff, please read through the below.

Things happen. We understand. Here’s how cancellation refunds work:

  • If you cancel on or before March 1, 2019, you’ll get a full refund of the amount paid.
  • On or after March 1, 2019, if you cancel your registration we will not provide a refund of the registration fees paid (regardless of whether or not you attend the Conference). You may, however, transfer your registration to someone else (see below).

To cancel your registration (and get your refund, if applicable), you will need to notify us in writing at soar@blujaysolutions.com and let us know you want to cancel your registration for the Conference. We will cancel your registration for the Conference and we will cancel your hotel reservation, if reserved via our registration system. Hotel reservations cancelled more than six days in advance of stay will not incur any charges. Hotel reservations cancelled five or less days in advance of stay will be charged one night’s room rate plus tax.

Please contact soar@blujaysolutions.com with any hotel reservation changes or questions. Do not call the hotel directly.

If you’re entitled to a refund, the amount refunded for the Conference registration(s) will be based on the fees paid for the registration(s) you cancel and will be refunded to your original payment method. Your hotel reservation will be refunded separately by the Hotel. These cancellation terms apply regardless of the reason that you cancel (even if you unfortunately need to cancel for personal reasons, weather conditions or other stuff that’s out of your control).

Cancellations received after the cutoff date with a balance due will receive a cancellation invoice for the full Conference registration amount due.

If you can’t attend, but know someone who really wants to be at the Conference, then you can transfer your registration to them for free prior to the Conference. To transfer your registration to someone else, please email soar@blujaysolutions.com.

Once you have completed the purchase of your Conference registration, the purchase and rate are considered final and won’t be adjusted later. You agree that, in the unlikely event that BluJay Solutions cannot resolve a refund or discount claim regarding your payment and you dispute the credit card charge, the electronic email confirmation presented upon registration completion, and/or a confirmation email sent after may be used as evidence that said charge is valid and just. If there are any issues with your credit card charge, please contact BluJay Solutions at soar@blujaysolutions.com.

BluJay Solutions uses the personal data you provide in this registration for the purpose of administering your participation in this Conference. To this end, BluJay Solutions may disclose your personal data to third party service providers (e.g., mailing houses and any other providers engaged by BluJay Solutions) to assist in the conduct of the Conference. BluJay Solutions may also disclose your personal data to other Conference attendees, including exhibitors and sponsors of the Conference, but will do so in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Data shared will be limited to name, job titles, email addresses and organization names. Except as described herein, BluJay Solutions will not disclose your personal data to any other third party without your consent, except where required to do so by law.

Unless we notify you otherwise, you’re permitted to take photos, videos or audio recordings (collectively, “recordings”) at the Conference, as long as you comply with these terms.

However, these recordings might include content or material that is protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other rights which we own or license. So, other than for your personal use, or as otherwise permitted herein, you are not allowed to copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute the recordings without our written permission.

We do allow – and even encourage you – to disseminate the recordings through social media (like tweeting, or posting to Facebook or Instagram), as long as the clips aren’t more than 1 minute in length and you are otherwise in compliance with these terms. Here are a couple of examples of what’s not allowed: posting a live stream of a session and posting a picture on Facebook of one of our speakers after we announced taking pictures wasn’t allowed.

Now some important restrictions: you agree that you won’t use any recordings (1) in a way that is misleading or disparaging, (2) in a way that implies that the content of the recordings is your own, (3) for commercial purposes (this means, for example, you can’t sell them) or in a way that implies that we endorse, sponsor or approve of your business, services or products, or (4) in violation of applicable law or in connection with an obscene, indecent, or unlawful topic or material. If we request that you discontinue use of any recordings, you will immediately comply with our request. And of course, if we do notify you that recordings aren’t allowed, then you agree that you won’t take any recordings.

Now about recordings BluJay Solutions can take: by attending the Conference and related events, you provide irrevocable consent to having your image, voice, likeness, presentation and/or other copyrightable material recorded, including video, audio, and still photography.

We reserve the right to use recordings taken at the Conference and related events however we might choose to, without giving you notice or any compensation.  We might use them, for example, in our press releases, marketing materials or other publications. You give BluJay Solutions the right to copyright said materials in its own name or any other name we may select and an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide license to display, reproduce, distribute, transfer, sublicense, alter, modify and broadly use any video or images (“Images”) for the purpose of including such Images in any marketing or promotional materials for BluJay Solutions. You understand that BluJay Solutions shall be the exclusive owner of its products, content and advertising, including such containing the materials and/or Images and that you are entitled to no remuneration for such use.  You waive the right to inspect or approve any use thereof. You hereby forever release and discharge BluJay Solutions, its affiliates and agents from any and all claims, actions and demands arising out of or in conjunction with the use of the any such materials or Images including, without limitation, claims for invasion of privacy and libel.

We might make updates to the Conference agenda from time-to-time, which might include a change in speakers or cancellation of certain sessions. We can’t promise the attendance of any speaker and won’t refund fees paid based on changes to the agenda.

The SOAR Customer Conference is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. If we are determined to have any liability to you, you agree our aggregate liability will be limited in all cases to one hundred dollars (US$100.)

Guest speakers are central to the success of BluJay Solutions’ events. In order to provide our attendees with a global platform for the exchange of ideas and insights, we invite key figures from various industries to share their personal perspectives concerning the challenges and opportunities facing businesses today. Guest speakers are not employees of BluJay Solutions and BluJay Solutions neither pre-reviews nor comments on the content of our guest speakers’ sessions. We make it expressly clear that guest speaker views and opinions are entirely their own and in no way reflect the views and opinions of BluJay Solutions.

When we change these terms, the “Last Modified” date below will be updated to reflect the date of the most recent version. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.  If you don’t agree to these terms, then you shouldn’t register for the Conference.
