Hotel Questions

How do I book my hotel room?

The hotel booking is integrated with the conference registration. While you are registering for SOAR, you will be asked if you wish to book lodging, and your check-in and check-out dates. Once you complete your SOAR registration, you will receive a confirmation of your hotel booking as well.

If you have already registered, and need to book your hotel or make a change to your existing hotel reservation, simply modify your registration to make the necessary changes. You can access the modify page here: Modify Existing Registration

If you have questions, or need to make a change to your reservations, please contact us.

Please do not call the hotel directly, or book outside of the SOAR registration system. These bookings will not offer the same discounted rate and will not identify you as part of the SOAR conference group.

Can I get a discounted hotel rate before or after the conference?

We are pleased to offer a discounted group rate of just $199.00 for up to three (3) days before and three (3) days after the conference, based on hotel availability. This is a huge savings, as normal room rates average $275-$350+ per night. This is subject to sales & occupancy tax (currently 12.5%).

Will there be high-speed Internet access in the guest rooms?

Yes, complimentary guest room Internet access is included in the hotel room rate.

Registration Questions

When is my registration payment due?

Payment must be received within 30 days of your registration if you selected the invoice option. If payment is not received in 30 days, your registration will be cancelled. If you wish to re-register for SOAR, you may do so at the current published rate. Please contact us should you have questions regarding payment information.

If registration fees have not been received prior to attending the conference, a credit card will be required upon check-in in order for you to attend the conference.

What if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel your registration, please contact us using the form on the Contact Us page. Cancellations or name substitution fees may apply.

Do I need to register for breakout sessions?

Breakout session reservations will be opened closer to the event. You will be notified via email when the sessions have been opened to reserve your space. Changes to your breakout reservations can also be made on-site at our Help Kiosks, via the mobile app, or at Hospitality Desk.

Travel Questions

When should I plan to arrive and depart?

We encourage you to book your travel arrangements so that you are able to arrive to Orlando by 5pm Monday, May 14. Flight reservations should be booked so that your flight out of Orlando departs no earlier than 5pm Thursday, May 17.

If you are attending our Customer Advisory Board meetings, we suggest arriving anytime Sunday, May 13, or by 11am Monday, May 14.

As always, we encourage you to take advantage of the discounted group rates available three (3) days before and after the conference dates to extend your stay. Bring the family for a mini-vacation!

How should I arrange for air travel?

Attendees are responsible for their own air reservations. Contact your preferred airline directly.

How much is parking?

SOAR attendees receive a discounted rate of $12.00 per vehicle per day (tax not included).

General Conference Questions

I want to bring a guest/family member. What is included with the Guest Pass?

The Guest Pass is $100 and must be purchased with a Full Conference pass. The guest pass will allow one (1) guest to attend the evening dinner events and Customer Appreciation Party. Guests are not permitted to attend any conference general or breakout sessions. Guest passes can be purchased at time of registration or on-site at SOAR. All guest pass purchases are based upon availability.

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend the Customer Appreciation Party.

Can I bring my family?

We encourage all of our attendees to bring their family to enjoy the wonderful amenities and unforgettable adventures of Orlando. While children and guests are not allowed in the conference area, there are plenty of activities available.

The signature Loews Loves Kids Programs are designed to make it fun and easy for families to travel with children and teens. From lending libraries of games to childproofing kits, we have everything to make your family’s travel as seamless as possible.

Resort Kids’ Camp

When Mom and Dad want to enjoy a night of fun or a quiet dinner alone, they can drop the kids off at any of the neighboring Resort Kids’ Camp, where kids can enjoy arts and crafts, stories, computers, video games, movies, board games and other activities. Kids’ Camp is for children ages 4–14. Counselors are trained to supervise toilet-trained children ages 4–14 only. $15 per hour, per child / $15 per meal. Open from 5 PM–11:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday and from 5 PM–midnight on Fridays and Saturdays (subject to change). Please call 407-503-4200 for reservations and more information.

Resort-style Swimming Pool

Loews Sapphire Falls Resort offers the largest pool across the Universal Orlando Resort™. The pool features two sand beach areas, a children’s play area with pop-up jets, a huge hot tub, and a waterslide. There are also private cabana’s available for rent.

Poolside Activities

The Loews Sapphire Falls Resort staff will offer a variety of activities including hula-hoop contests, poolside moves, splash contests, and more!

Refresh and recharge at Mandara Spa, found at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando. With soothing therapies including massages, facials, body treatments, salon services and more, we will ensure you are feeling pampered and looking your best.

What is the dress code for SOAR?

Attendees are encouraged to wear business casual attire throughout the day, as well as at evening events. Please note that the conference rooms can sometimes be chilly, so bring a jacket or sweater. For the evening events, casual resort attire is recommended.

What should I do if I have issues with my badge?

Visit the registration desk and a BluJay associate will assist you. For security purposes, your name badge is mandatory at all SOAR events and is non-transferable.

What meals are hosted by the conference?

The conference will host the following meals:

Monday

  • Welcome Carnaval Celebration Dinner

Tuesday

  • Full breakfast, morning and afternoon breaks with snacks, full lunch and of course, an amazing dinner at our Customer Appreciation Party

Wednesday

  • Full breakfast, morning and afternoon breaks with snacks, full lunch, Networking Dinner

Thursday

  • Full breakfast, morning break with snacks, and to-go lunches on Friday.

What sessions will be offered at the conference?

An initial list of sessions will be available by mid-January, and we will announce the final session schedule with presenters by the end of March. Make sure to subscribe for updates to receive notifications when information is posted to the website.

What is the weather typically like in Orlando in May?

Orlando’s weather in May is warm and humid so you only need to pack light clothes. The average maximum daytime temperature in the month of May in Orlando is about 88°F (31°C), while the average minimum temperature is a pleasant 65°F (18°C). On average, there will be 10 hours of sunshine per day.
